Simple Design Studio is a a high degree of enthusiasm and professionalism interior design team located in Taiwan. Our design is based on the human core and plans the most comfortable space and atmosphere according to the needs of the owners.

Sun Bathed Greenery Residence by Derson Chiu With the many years of living abroad and staying experiences of boutique hotels of the client, the design team would like to anchor the design on Practical Functions and Aesthetic Living, for creating a reserved yet culturally enriched residential space. The public domain with large-area windows and vista of greenery view, through a refined layout strategy, was treated without superfluous decorations while the private domain was designed as a warm and relaxing resting quarter.

Tranquil Zen Residence by Derson Chiu As the spirit of Zen is enlightenment, through tranquil interior life in pursuit of inner peace, enlightenment comes naturally through a simple and humble aesthetics of living. By infusing nature into spatial design, the simple finished concrete and warm timber, a comfortable and stress-free interior ambiance come to create a pristine Japanese-style residence. With the combination of timber and masonry materials, the space and its inhabitants become a poetic and reflective pure existence.

Sense of Peace Residential by Derson Chiu Used checks, straight lines, and a sedate color tone to shape the house. As to the public domain, the entrance, which is the first impression of the mansion, is built in grey and white color, combined with gentle wood materials to set off the feeling of coziness. In addition, the TV semi-wall is varnished with special paints, which has drawn an image of mountain, water, and cloud into the room. Furthermore, for the sake of extending the area’s ambiance to the interspace and preserving the river scenery simultaneously, the study is managed in open form.
