Larissa MoraesI grew up among art history books, brushes and a lot of color. My mother plays an important role in my history, but during adolescence, I understood the difficulties of an artist's life and decided to pursue a stable career. I studied law and followed the legal career in the capital of Brazil, Brasilia, where I worked in the Senate and the federal government. However, my heart was never there and I tried to find another alternative of work and achievement for me. I met the jewelry world because of a friend, took a course in the area and fell in love. I worked with the laws during the day and spent the night coloring and drawing jewelry. I made a jewel or another when some friend asked and produced some pieces in an experimental partnership. At the end of 2018, I found happiness in art and began to design the jewelry collection of my dreams. In early 2019, I manufactured some pieces from the collection and posted the images on Instagram. In a few days after that, my life changed! I was invited to participate in five design and jewelry fairs and the publication of the contemporary Brazilian jewelry book of 2019. I participated in the 1st jewelry fair in South America, in São Paulo. Satisfied and driven by the excellent receptivity of my first collection, I abandoned the legal career and embraced the project that gives me joys the most. Producing jewelry is like living a dream! I've never been happier and whole! It's that energy, asleep for so many years that I put in my job. About the present and the future: My work has been noticed by relevant names in the world of jewelry and this validation indicates that I am on the right track. I found creative people in the world of jewelry, full of sensitivity. My purpose is to build a solid career, deserve to be part of this group and, finally, live from art and affection.
