Asuka Saito is an award winning jewelry designer and an accredited jewelry professional based in San Francisco, California. She has obtained qualifications from Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A). She designs unique contemporary-ish jewelry inspired by forms and colors found in nature, mostly using real materials, a blessing from nature, and a symbol of beauty through the ages. She also creates remodeling jewelry for new look and beautiful piece of modern jewelry. Japan, where she was born and grew up, has a wide range of art style and media along with a myriad of other types of works of art. It has a long history, ranging from the beginnings of human habitation in Japan, sometime in the 10th millennium BC, to the present. So her design is influenced by the traditional art and techniques, and she makes jewelry using Japanese traditional techniques for new look, unique and beautiful piece of jewelry.
